TP Quick Skin Care Review: Bobbi Brown Instant Long-Wear Makeup Remover

If there is one thing I don't feel like doing after getting home from an exhausting day at work is taking off my makeup. But with all these over-load of chemicals I slap on my face, it's really a MUST to remove all this makeup.

With the variety of options available in the market today, choosing the one that will not only remove all the traces of makeup as well as a product that suit my skin is what I always consider.

From last week's event, I got a generous sample bottle of this Bobbi Brown Instant Long-Wear Makeup Remover. It's an oil-based makeup remover that you have to shake until it mixes. This is said to effectively break down long-lasting and waterproof makeup from eyes and lips. Will this be my holy grail makeup remover?

I say...

1. It doesn't have a scent which I like.

2. A little goes a long way.

3. It's super gentle, there was really no stinging.

4. It doesn’t aggravate skin in the slightest.

5. It strips away all makeup residue especially waterproof mascara and eyeliner in about 2 swipes.

6. It's worth the price tag.

7. The only qualm would be that the formula has that oily feel although it only lasts momentarily.

Overall I thought that for its regular price of Php 1, 450, it's really worth it because it takes off all the makeup in one or two swoops. Another plus is, it doesn't leave my face feeling dry or irritated.

Bobbi Brown is available at the following stores:

Rustan’s Makati
Rustan’s Shangri-La Plaza
Power Plant Mall, Rockwell
SM Megamall
SM North City EDSA
SM Mall of Asia

Chill & Chat at Mrs.Fields Cafe SM Makati

Yesterday I dropped by Mrs.Fields Cafe located at SM Makati. It was truly a wonderful afternoon as I indulged with their mouthwatering desserts and drinks that are freshly prepared. The place is cozy and homey, an ultimate place to sit down and relax after a stressful work.

Their seating area perfectly captures the essence of a homey cafe.

These trinkets and photo frames on display added to the chill vibe of the place.

It was my first time to try these cookie treats with sweet and savory taste.

I can't get enough of these Indulgent Creations served in a soft, chewy chocolate chip cookie topped with a roasted marshmallow and either Hershey's Chocolate Bar, Hershey's Kisses or Reese's.

If you are a cookie and brownie nibbler, you shouldn't miss these!

P.S. At the cafe, the menu has been extended to include more than baked products such as hot, cold and blended refreshments, pastries and sandwiches.

November 2015 Favorites

Doing another run down of all things I've been loving all through out last month. Some are new holy grail products and few are old favorites.

Nivea Mattifying Toner, Php 169

First of all, I really like that the packaging is pretty sturdy which is safe for travel. Right after application, it leaves my skin clear and fresh. This toner also helps in removing excess dirt and kind of mattifies by controlling shine although it doesn't do much for the pores. Nonetheless, I still recommend this toner for those who have combination or oily skin.

Adore Fragrances Charmed Body Spray, Php 129.75

This is one of the first effective and worthy fragrances that I purchased in so long. It reveals a woody-musky scent with a slight hint of floral. Very light and fresh and it's perfect for spraying on right after I shower.

 Myra Facial Moisturizer, Php 80

The moisturizer than does not only work so well on my skin but my budget as well. It feels light and silky, and it doesn't clog my pores.

Asian Secrets Lulur Indonesian Whitening Body Scrub, Php 130

I've been using this since time immemorial and I just can't imagine not having this in my bath essentials. It effectively removes dead skin cells through gentle exfoliation and it helped evens my skin tone on the elbows, knees, armpits and the area between my thighs.

Essence Longlasting Lipstick in Natural Beauty, Php 229

This shade is a pretty nude pink with some purple undertones. It gives sheer coverage in one swipe and feels comfortable on lips. It's also super hydrating. Plus, super affordable!

BeYu Color Biggie in 324, Php 480

A multi-purpose product - an eye shadow, kajal liner and highlighter all in one. This cappuccino, champagne shade looks really nice on lids with a hint of shimmer. It has a velvety feel and the pencil glides smoothly over the skin.

Products shown are available at Watsons and SM Department Stores.

TP Quick Hair Care Reviews: Aloe Derma Shampoo, Conditioner & Tonic

A messy hair was perhaps a misnomer for my dry & damaged, dull, and just out of control hair. It wasn't looking good. Not until I got my hands on Aloe Derma Shampoo, Conditioner & Tonic a few weeks ago. After using all three products my hair has never felt better!
